Benefits to ISPON Members ISPON provides value added services to its members to assist them in making business decisions. This is done by sending regular information to its members on various issues like Government Policy, opportunities in the domestic and export market, information on seminars/conferences abroad, visa issues and other strategic issues of the software industry. Regular meetings of ISPON members are organized in different cities to understand the problems faced by members and obtain suggestions to facilitate the growth of the industry. ISPON also organizes software seminars in different places to highlight Nigeria’s capabilities in the field of computer software, their areas of specialization, technical expertise, in-house platform availability etc. this directory is sent to large number of vendors and has generated a large number of export enquiries. To enhance better relationships among members, ISPON organizes a series of social events for members to foster closer ties and to establish a channel for constant feedback from the members. It also provides a forum for software services, companies and professionals to interact, exchange information, share knowledge and address issues of common interest in general and the software technology industry in particular. ISPON promotes, develops and protects the interest of the software industry. Its’ function is embodied in encouraging and fostering activities within the industry and between the members and other relevant associations and government bodies. To facilitate international trade for its members, ISPON has set for itself the objective of participating actively in international activities which includes organizing trade missions, participating in Conferences/Trade Fairs and ensuring that international enquiries for trade opportunities are channeled through to members.
