Membership
is open to software companies (either foreign or local)
and professionals
who are actively engaged in the development or provision of software
products and related services in Nigeria.
Factors
that are considered most important in granting membership are
good track
record in business operations, strong financial commitment
and a significant local value added component in the services
offered.
Membership comprises of 'Members and Associate Members' category.
Members and Associate Members
Members:
These
are software companies operating in Nigeria, with an annual revenue
of N2.0
million and above. Members are entitled to hold office and vote at
any election
of the association.
Associate
Members:
These are
software companies operating in Nigeria with annual revenue
of below N2.0
million from the development or provision of software products
and related
services. Liaison Offices of Overseas Software Companies will be considered in
the associate member category. All Associate Members will enjoy all the benefits
of membership, but are not eligible to vote at any
election.
