The ISPON National Software Conference/Software Competition for Universities provides a window of opportunities for Nigeria to sell its brainpower through software development. Nigeria can become globally competitive in the promotion of intellectual capital.
In the information ecologies of today, it is commonly recognised that the ecosystem consists of diverse actors. If the major driver for Nigeria in the new economic order for the 21st century will be innovation-led information technology, the momentum will be created by the software Developers, Companies, government officials especially policy makers, IT professionals, Diplomats, Bankers and other interest Groups to interact and chart a direction for the software development arm of the industry. A key strategy in achieving the above is the constructive engagement of organisations and institutions that are stakeholders in the Software Industry.
This is an event for developers and architects, consumers, regulators, policy-makers, related professionals, and other interest Groups—to interact and feedback on contemporary issues, ideas and initiatives that would enable the emergence of a vibrant local software economy in Nigeria . The conference is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the manpower availability in the industry as well as the latest and upcoming software technologies as they relate to organizations ranging from SMBs to enterprises. The conference will also feature the National Software Development Competition for Youth.
